After a 15 year hiatus I returned to the hobby in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. The hobby I knew as a child had changed massively. With the growth of social media, the community had exploded! There were more resources available than ever before, and new ways to learn like Twitch and Patreon.
Sadly, this also coincided with Brexit. Buying models from Europe became slightly more difficult and expensive, as did travelling to other shows.
The Diddy Miniature Company was founded to fill some of the hole left in result of this. The first steps of a new miniature line, and the creation of events in the UK to help foster the UK scene.
The Community
The Diddy Miniatures company can’t exist without a community of supporters.
To this effect we have a Discord server where we discuss projects past, present and future.
I also host livestream painting sessions on twitch a few days a week!

The Show
Diddycon!
A new event finding its feet. The inaugural event will take place in 2023 at a great location right in the heart of Cardiff. It will be smashing onto the scene with some of the best vendors in the UK and will be hoping to draw together plenty of painters of all levels from across the Uk.

The Hangout
We are currently working out the logistics of an event similar to the Dogma 48 events. This is a great idea where hobbyists come together under the same roof for a weekend. The aim of the game is each hobbyist has 48 hours to complete a project from start to finish.
